This is a poem inspired by the historical acts of police brutality and social injustice. It details the harsh realities for many Black individuals in America, referencing MLK Jr.’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech and the sad outcomes of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. As a whole, it is a call for societal change.
